Supporters are reminded that tonight's Surridge Sectional League Cup match between Cumbernauld United and Rob Roy will now take place at Adamslie Park with a 6.45 pm kick off.

The Sectional League Cup tie between Cumbernauld United and Rob Roy scheduled to take place at Guys Meadow on Wednesday 18th August 2010 will now be played at Adamslie Park Kirkintilloch on the same date with a 6.45pm kick off.

An EGM will be held on Tuesday 24th August 2010 in the Pavilion, Adamslie Park at 7.30pm. Members will be advised of the meeting in writing by the General Secretary.

In a competitive friendly at Adamslie Park on Wednesday 4th August, Rabs had to come from behind to defeat a well drilled Stenhousemuir Under 19's side 3-2.

Rabs took the lead in the 33rd minute when Stuart McClune fired home from eight yards. Stenny equalised 12 minutes after the break when Gallacher ran through the home defence to shoot past Scott Wilson then on the hour mark the Warriors went ahead when Connaghan scored from a suspiciously offside position.

A minute later Paul Tweedie regained parity when his well placed shot from the edge of the box beat keeper Diamond in the Stenny goal. Rabs sealed victory ten minutes from time when the experienced Andy McLay placed a perfect shot into the keepers right hand corner of the net. A victory marred by injuries to Ryan Martins and Chris Zok.

Rob Roy were defeated 4-0 by a well organised and impressive Kelty Hearts side.

The Fifers took a 26th minute lead when Scott Laurie netted from a Greg Meikle pass. Six minutes before the break Hearts doubled their lead when Meilkle fired low past Ian Wilson.

The second half began with Kelty well in control and only the woodwork prevented Mauchlen and Laurie from adding to their tally. Scott Laurie made it 3-0  in the 56th minute, taking a cross from the left in his stride to net  from close range.

The East Region side were dominating proceedings with Morrison, Laurie and Meikle pulling the strings for the Kelty team and they went further ahead in the 76th minute when Rabs keeper Ian Wilson pulled Ross McCabe down in the box, Referee Colin Steven had no hesitation in pointing to the spot, Scott Laurie stepped up to convert the penalty kick and a well deserved hat trick. Rabs huffed and puffed for the rest of the match but with Kelty's Junior Scotland's skipper Tom Courts keeping his defence well marshalled, in the end  the home side were a well beaten team.

Rob Roy will play Stenhousemuir Under 19's in a friendly at Adamslie Park on Wednedsay 4th August 2010 with a 7pm kick off.

Three goals in a 3 minute spell midway through the first half set Rabs on the road to victory in the McKenna Park friendly. Stuart McClune rose to head Rob Roy ahead in the 21st minute with Craig Feroz making it 2-0 a minute later with a 30 yarder which went in off the post to beat Ants keeper Jon Connolly, the Rabs striker doubled his tally in the 24th minute when he ran through to pick his spot. Rabs skipper Sinclair made it four with a superb header following an Andy Cross assist.

The Ants pulled one back eight minutes into the second half through Frank Brodie, the score remained the same until the last minute when Jamie Lennox conceded a penalty kick which Steve McMullen converted to make the final result 4-2 in Rabs favour.
