Ex-Rabs Stewart Maxwell, Craig Palmer and recent signing Michael Fulton were in the Petershill starting eleven.
Peasy had the opening chance in the 7th minute when from a corner Fulton blazed the ball over the bar the same player was unlucky a minute later when he just failed to make contact with a through ball from midfield.
Rabs first real threat on the Peasy goal came in the 11th minute but keeper Wright made a smart save from Bradley's decent effort from a Lindsay corner. Few chances were being created but Peasy had the opportunity to go ahead in the 14th minute when Ohakam lost possession in midfield allowing McKenna a free run on goal but his finishing let him down and Rabs keeper Robertson blocked his tame shot.
Diack passed up a good chance for Rabs when he collected an Adam throw in but fired high over the bar, then in the 22nd minute Peasy snatched the lead when a long Maxwell clearance was met by Ohakam but his back header to his keeper was woefully short allowing Sean McKenna to run in and slot the ball into the net.
Rabs came back strongly with Lindsay sending a 30 yard free-kick inches wide and Maxwell heading a Bradley goal-bound volley clear. Maxwell tested Robertson with a couple of efforts from distance but it always looked likely that the teams would go in at the interval with the single goal separating the sides
Half-Time ; Petershill 1 v Rob Roy 0.
Rabs made a change at half-time with Coakley replacing Adam. Rabs came close to equalising in the 51st minute with Wright brilliantly tipping over a powerful Connolly drive then a minute later at the other end Woods robbed Connolly out on the left before switching the ball to McKenna who smashed his shot against Robertsons post.
Rabs made their second change in the 55th minute when Easton came on for Frye followed by McAleenan for Lindsay. Rabs were reduced to 10 men with 14 minutes remaining when substitute McAleenan, only on the park six minutes pulled down McKenna as the striker ran through on goal and was shown a straight red card by Referee Munro.
In the final minutes Rabs went all out for the equaliser, McVey was pulled down out on the left, Meechan sent the free-kick just wide of the post then in the last minute Wright made a superb stop to prevent the same player from grabbing Rabs a share of the spoils.
Full-Time; Petershill 1 v Rob Roy 0.
Verdict;- Not much between the sides over the 90 minutes but again sloppy defensive errors was Rabs downfall.
Ref Watch;- A easy match for Referee Munro to control but annoyed both support with being overly fussy. Many felt that he was too hasty in flashing a red card to McAleenan.
